America’s education crisis, and fixing it under Trump 2.0
According to an Inside Higher Ed/Hanover Research poll, just 8% of university faculty backed Donald Trump over Kamala Harris in 2024.
At our most elite universities, the imbalance is even worse.
In political science departments at research universities, over 87% of professors identify as some shade of Democrat, while less than 4% lean Republican in any way.
That’s not diversity of thought.
It’s ideological capture.
It’s why I devote a chapter of Trump 2.0 to the future of American education.
When the people teaching the next generation of American leaders are overwhelmingly left-wing, it’s no surprise what students end up learning.
It’s time to bring back common sense education, and that’s just what President Trump is doing.
