Candidate Spotlight: Congressman Gabe Evans & The Fight for Colorado’s Battleground
Every election cycle, political commentators love to talk about the “swing districts” that will decide the balance of power in Washington. But very few candidates actually embody the work ethic, background, and grit required to win and hold those high-stakes seats.
Enter Congressman Gabe Evans (CO-08).
Gabe’s story isn’t that of a career politican. He’s a former U.S, Army Captain and UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter pilot who served in Operation Enduring Freedom, spent a decade as an Arvada police lieutenant, and is the grandson of a Mexican immigrant who served in World War II.
Now representing one of the most competitive toss-up districts in the entire nation - Colorado’s 8th Congressional District - Gabe is on the front lines fighting for lower costs, border security, and law enforcement support.
On Friday’s episode of The Sean Spicer Show, Gabe broke down what’s happening on the ground in Colorado, why local grassroots mobilization is moving the needle, and what it takes to hold the line in critical battleground races across the country.
