So true. My wife and I do most of our own work around the house. We needed a serious retaining wall and had an over abundance of big rocks, some in the 100 to 200 lb range (Arizona). It took us about 2 years to build, working on and off when we had time. It was around 100’ long and 6’ high. We sold the house about ten years ago. The wall still looks the same. To get to the point, many neighbors came by and said something to the effect of, “that's what Mexicans are for”. It's sad. It's racist. It says as a nation we're lazy and that type of work is beneath us. Everyone thinks if they go to college they won't have to work that hard. Heaven forbid!
