Strongly disagree with the perspective of Sean's guests regarding Ukraine. First off, it is IN OUR BEST INTEREST as a nation, to provide aid to Ukraine. It's not just about the situation in Ukraine (and NATO) that we help others fight to defend those fighting for freedom against forces that want to brutally subjugate other nations and then threaten others; for reference check the historic entries under World War I and World War II. Moreover, just as our great nation needed help from France to defeat England, we also should help others who are fighting for their freedom. And it is misinformation to state that Ukraine aid was wasted or stolen; in fact most of the money for Ukraine aid went to American companies who were making the weapons sent to Ukraine. It also is a sham to refer to Zelensky in such denigrating ways - Zelensky famously said dont send a helicopter, send ammo. While Ukraine does have corruption, that has been the case there for a long time before Zelensky came into power, and Zelensky has taken steps to deal with corruption. (what's the corruption score for Russia) Zelensky is still president because the Ukraine constitution does not allow for elections to take place when there is a war. As for polling numbers showing public support against aid for Ukraine, we all know that polling outcomes often depend on how the question is asked, as there also are polls showing a majority of the public support it. President Trump deserves credit for standing up Putin as he now is doing and he should continue to show leadership and provide them with whatever aid they need, as well as enforce sanctions against Russia.
