@seanspicer: While the Left and the legacy media want to create a "both sides" narrative, they have condoned & justified violence & vandalism in support of what they deem "the greater good"
The studies & polling are clear: "Our report also discovered an online “assassination culture,” found in predominantly left-leaning digital spaces, such as Bluesky and Reddit. This subculture justifies and glorifies political violence."
@seanspicer: I've seen strength, I've seen courage, I've seen faith but what I saw from @MrsErikaKirk last night was the most powerful and impactful tribute I'll will see in my lifetime.
Charlie is so proud of his amazing wife.

This week on The Sean Spicer Show…
We have a great week lined up. Today, I’m joined by Senators Eric Schmitt and Ted Cruz for a conversation about the state of American politics. The Wednesday, Tom Homan joins the show for an update on border. You’re not gonna want to miss these conversations, stay tuned for more guest updates!
Wellness update...
If you watch the show or have been reading the newsletter for a while you know I have been on my own MAHA/wellness journey. One of the big things I have done is switched out many of the personal care products (soap, toothpaste, vitamins, etc) and home care products (cleaning supplies, detergent) with products from an American based, family company where wellness is front and center.

Its not “Both Sides”...
I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about this “both sides” narrative from the Left and their media buddies.
I’m still searching but this is where I am now.
They want to focus on the result – the violence
“It’s simple,” they say, “both sides do it.”
The left and their friends in media have used the assassination of Charlie Kirk to talk about political (translation: both sides) issues.
They’ll cite the Paul Pelosi incident, the Whitmer kidnapping plot, and the Minnesota legislators shooting.
You know the talking points:
“Radicalism on both sides stoked this fire.”
“We need to condemn violent rhetoric on both sides.”
“There is political violence on both sides.”
Except its not that simple.
In their minds it works like this - I want to go lunch, you want to go to lunch - so both sides want to have lunch.
It’s equal.
But you want to go to a five-star restaurant and I want to go to Wendy’s.
The more I thought about it, the more it became clear.
There are two aspects they don’t discuss:
The lead up and the response.
Poll after poll, survey after survey reveals the left believes it’s acceptable to use violence—and yes to even assassinate your opponents.
And let’s be clear: their so-called leaders do nothing to tamp it down – in fact if you listen to Joe Biden, Chuck Schumer, Maxine Waters they incite and condone it.
Then there is the response—whether at a Catholic School, against a young Ukrainian woman, or Charlie—our side is called to prayer and tributes – the Left, riots and vandalisms.
The violent rhetoric has been one-sided for years.
At this point, to be neutral is to choose a side— it’s time to call a spade a spade.
Let’s break it down.
The scale isn’t balanced…
Yes, there is violence and extreme rhetoric on both ends of the spectrum.
The Left points to the attack on Paul Pelosi and Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer to prove their point.
Both of those instances - and frankly every act of violence is unacceptable- something I have been clear about throughout my adult life.
But look at what the right is facing, and scale isn’t even close to comparable.
To understand the gravity of Charlie’s assassination you have to understand why he was on that college campus
For decades those of us on the right have not been permitted to speak on campuses - and all sorts of the other groups and events.
We have been cancelled, censored, and attacked.
After I left the White House I spoke on several campuses mostly through the funding and support of the Young Americas Foundation.
Whether it was UC Berkeley, Harvard or UPenn I was always greeted by armed officers who would brief me on the security plan. Then it would usually be followed by an explanation of what the students were permitted to do to come at me BEFORE action would be taken. Often behavior to heckle or even threaten the speaker - in this case me - was supported if not encouraged by faculty, staff and senior administrators.
That’s not the case for liberal speakers.
Many employers around the country are equally guilty of this.
Merely expressing a conservative view or failure to abide by the woke agenda (like including one’s pronouns) are cause for dismissal.
For years, the left has insisted that Trump and MAGA are a threat to democracy.
Chuck Schumer claimed we’re coming to get a Supreme Court justice. Rep. Maxine Waters encouraging supports to accost trump staff in public places has an effect.
Calling someone Hitler, calling an entire subset of Americans Nazis, has taken its toll on a generation of young Americans who have only heard…”one side.”
For the past decade the Left, though mainstream and social media, has led an entire generation only hear once perspective.
They rejected smart discourse, instead insisting that the other side posed an extensional threat to our existence.
Now they’re surprised that their followers are killing their fellow Americans?
Violent rhetoric yields real violence…
In the aftermath of the killing of George Floyd the left excused vandalism, violence and widespread destruction.
They censored voices, they weaponized the judicial system.. they’ve even attempted to kick their opposition off the ballot.
Their rhetoric is extreme—and violence is the natural result.
The truly despicable thing about it is that they aren’t sorry for it.
Throughout all of the fallout, I haven’t heard Democrat party leaders condemn this— and the media refuses to hold them to account— because the media doesn’t believe they are part of the problem.
Not only does the left refuse to condemn the murder of an innocent man, in countless cases they’re actively cheering it on.
In the wake of Charlie’s assassination, the response of many on the left was to take to social media and support his killing — much like they did after the CEO of United Health was murder in cold blood.
Polling shows left support violence as a means to silencing their opponents.
A report from the Network Contagion Research Institute showed that 55% of those left of center believe that assassinating President Trump would be at least somewhat justified.
57% of those left of center agreed that destroying Tesla dealerships was “partially acceptable”.
This report,
“…also discovered an online “assassination culture,” found in predominantly left-leaning digital spaces, such as Bluesky and Reddit.
This subculture justifies and glorifies political violence. Some of these networks’ users wield the name “Luigi” or use the Luigi video game character as coded endorsements of Brian Thompson’s alleged assassin, Luigi Mangione.
These users cloak explicit calls for violence in stylized memes. Many believe that political murder and sabotage are acceptable forms of protest.”
This is the American left.
Let’s look at the other side.
Prayer and strong resolve…
In the wake of Charlie’s murder, his supporters and movement have prayed, gathered peacefully, and held vigils in his honor.
This Sunday, thousands of people—many for the first time—attended church in honor of Charlie.
Social media was flooded with calls for prayer and reflection on the faith that drove Charlie.
Compare that to the George Floyd BLM riots.
Entire neighborhoods were destroyed for the sake of a drug addict with a criminal record.
Still think there’s not a clear good and bad side here?
This video juxtaposes the scenes nicely:
I’m not the only one that’s fed up with this “both sides” nonsense.
Yesterday while guest hosting Charlie’s podcast, Vice President JD Vance went scorched earth on the violence of the left.
It’s worth the listen—you can find the clip here.
Also yesterday, Greg Gutfeld laid into the show’s liberal cohost for trying to pull the same “both sides” trick.
It’s not subtle anymore.
A movement that cheers the assassination of an innocent man, that calls for more murders before his blood is cold and then mocks his widow— that’s not a movement that can be reasoned with.
The bottom line…
I was heartened watching Erika Kirk address the world just after losing her husband and the father of her kids.
We saw both her raw grief and incredible courage.
She showed unbelievable strength— a living testament to the faith Charlie publicly spoke of.
Her demeanor is exactly what the right needs in the face of a violent opposition:
A fervent faith in Christ and commitment to American ideals, bolstered by clear resolve about what we face and what it will take to overcome it.
Charlie’s mission will endure and grow stronger—that’s never been clearer.
The path forward isn’t weak calls for unity with the side that’s shooting.
It’s standing tall for the truth in a world full of lies.
That’s what Charlie lived—and died—for.
