The media under Trump 2.0
This Saturday, the WHCA will be holding the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.
It’s a swanky event at the Washington Hilton Hotel, where the who’s who in lefty media congratulate each other on their great, hard-hitting journalism (yes that’s sarcasm).
As the event approaches, I’ve been thinking about the state of the American media: more specifically, how far it’s fallen.
In fact, the only reason why the event is relevant this year is because President Trump will be in attendance—for the first time in his two terms.
It’s a huge break for the WHCA (honestly, I wish the President did not go).
Without his presence it would be crystal clear just how irrelevant they’ve become.
Yet members of the WHCA are publicly trashing President Trump for attending:
I talk about why traditional media has become irrelevant in Trump 2.0:
“Many cheered for the total censorship of a former president who tens of millions of Americans voted into office.
These so-called journalists who collect their income—often a lucrative one—from peddling sensationalized disinformation to the American public, especially as it has related to the Russia Hoax.”
When you consistently lie and play sides, there are consequences.
And that’s exactly what the media is finding out.
Let’s break it down.
