What's the issue?
I’ve been around long enough to remember when America’s two party divide made sense.
Republicans wanted small government, less spending. Democrats pushed big government, more programs.
You could argue till the cows came home, but the lines were clear.
And on common sense things—like strong borders, defending the country, or calling out violence—everybody agreed.
I remember Obama talking tough on border security.
Pelosi and Hillary too, waving the flag for enforcement.
But now? It’s a whole different ball game.
