The Biden press conference and Trump’s VP pick are the two dominant issues heading into the weekend. Let me break them both down

First, the Biden “big boy” presser (reminder he has an interview with Lester Holt Monday). On a personal level I have a sense of what was on the line. After my first (epic) presser that dealt with the crowd audience at the inauguration I knew my next one was — well, let’s just say it was everything. I knew if I didn’t hit it out of the park I was done. I think Biden knew the same.
